For this part you will need:

  • 6x 26-22 AWG Insulated Quick Disconnect Terminals
  • ~3 feet of 18 AWG Wire, 2 conductor
  • ~6 feet of 24 AWG Ribbon Wire, 2 conductor
  • 9x Small Zip Ties
  • 5x 2-pin header connectors
  • 5x 4-pin header connectors
  • 2x  2-pin Male molex connector for the hot end
  • 4x Female Pins for the hot end
  • 30x Female Pins for header connectors
  • 7x M3 Nuts
  • 7x M3 Washers
  • 4x M3x16mm Cap Screws
  • 3x M3x25mm Cap Screws
  • 1x RAMPS 1.4 Electronics
  • 2x ramps-mount-bar printed pieces
  • 2x ramps-mount-clamp printed pieces

 

This part will consist of creating the wires that run to the endstops, the motors, and cleaning them up a bit.  Ideally you would want to use pin crimpers to put the pins onto the ends of the wires, but you can just use a pair of pliers if you are careful and don't want to buy a new tool.  You will also need something to cut and strip the wires with.

 The first thing that you will start with is the wires going to the motors.
